The Plan

We will raise funds to help Nchanji and Habitat Africa accomplish their goals of Building simple houses for social uses (classrooms, maternity wards in rural areas) out of blocks made from waste plastic bottles.

We will focus on setting up a small makeshift factory for the mass production of the building units and other sanitary and plumbing wares.

Our next steps are to help Habitat Africa open a facility to sort, recycle, and upcycle the plastic picked up during the cleanups.

About the WVPmover

Sea Me Clean

35 years old

Well I am married to my wife Honorine, and we have son called Levi, I
am a holder of a bachelor’s degree in Mining engineering but am
passionate environmentalist. Coming from a low income country in
Africa, and also born into a family of ten siblings, it has not been easy
doing anything that involves finances is difficult.

About the project

My passion to see and have a clean environment coupled with the lack of adequate housing pushed me off my comfort zone to do something to the people and for the environment, thus Habitat Africa.

Educating people about the effects of plastic pollution and how to live a more sustainable life through weekly cleanups and educational programs.

We have created bricks from our melting process and are trying to take production to the next level.

We are raising awareness about environmental pollution in our local communities which we do in schools, by teaching students how to recycle waste plastics in simple innovative ways, in agriculture, furniture making, interior decoration etc.

Mid 2017 but became official by the government late 2018.

6 registered volunteers.

Many schools and students volunteering.

Moulds, boots, spades, shovels, trowels, screwdrivers, wheel barrows, heating source, gloves, googles etc.

How can we help you do MORE?

Building simple houses for social uses (classrooms, maternity wards in rural areas) out of blocks made from waste plastic bottles.

Setting up a small makeshift factory for the mass production of the building units and other sanitary and plumbing wares.

We intend to do this through seeking for grants, funds etc from organisations who can support our project financially so can we foot the bills of the whole operation.

i. Tools?
Wheelbarrows, hammers, screwdrivers, moulds, boots,
gloves, googles, helmets, saws, cutters, gas masks etc.
ii. Equipment?
Locally made oven for heating and melting, blowers, a truck,
tricycles, crushers, washers, dryers, vibrating table, etc.
iii. Any kind of support from others?
The technical support from any well-wisher who can support
accomplishing our goal is much welcomed.
